Behold, those of you gathered in sultry South Florida—the land where music goes to die! Before you are the Instant Whips, a swaggering rock and roll trip, here to make you shake your hips and make your backbone slip. The Whips have been reviled by parents and clergy alike who misunderstand the big beat and the hypnotic effect it has on the kids. The five lads in this rag-tag outfit have worked as gun-running mercenaries, flea circus impresarios, tough talking hookers with hearts of gold, and shills in questionable games of chance, but their primary--and shared—purpose is to push out enough high octane jibberish and jungle drums to claim their place as high priests of the dark arts of rock-n-roll. That and to destroy all fatuous, internet-based, social networks they may come across—but in the meantime, check 'em out on Facebook!

Contradictions of this sort are just part of what make the Instant Whips so exciting. Consider for a moment all of the contrary impulses that go into a savage beat combo of this sort—its like macrame and switchblades, baby!

Just get loose and go with it 'cause these young gents have seen it all, from rough-n-ready Marseilles to the hot, fast action of Bombay. Hell, they even rehearse in a hearse and rehearsing in a hearse is pretty perverse. They're like a chance encounter with the "Man" gone horribly wrong in which subjects (presumably innocent) are bludgeoned to death with the black, merciless truncheon of rock-n-roll. Now, assume the position, dirteater!
